DOTD: Did ya miss me?

So I know I completely have been lacking in the OOTD category. But because I haven’t had any reason to get dressed, I haven’t gotten dressed. And when I have gotten dressed, I’ve been too BLAH to take pictures. So today after church, I pulled off somewhere to take pictures. I promise to make more of an effort in this coming week.

Also, I still have the final giveaway that I didn’t do… so that will be #1 on my priority list tonight.

So what have you been up to?

Outfit Breakdown:
Dress: Burlington Coat Factory
Tights: Silkies
Boots: Bakers Shoes
Necklace: Burlington Coat Factory

DOTD: Too broke to travel

Since a lot of the bloggers I know are currently making their way to the Sonsi Full Figure Fashion Week in LA, I felt the need to be over dressed as though I were going to be among those celebrating. This outfit was something I had been thinking for about since I got this silver/white glittery jacket and couldn’t wait to wear it. But the shoes always seemed off. Then i got these glittery masterpieces and I thought this is what this outfit needed… but it may still be missing the mark. What do you think? Would you change anything?

Outfit Breakdown:

Jacket: Curve Appeal Consignment

Tank: Wal-mart

Jeans: Wal-mart

Earrings: Beauty Supply

Hat: Wal-mart

Shoes: ebay (seller: metronomestudios)

DOTD: Teal we meet again… no really, don’t come back

Today the construction workers came back to look and check what needs to be checked up. i found out I have to empty my kitchen and bathroom again so they can re-paint. Which is great because hubby is a painter is terribly disappointed in the work they have done. So as they walked around my place (yet again) these are the only pictures i could take really quickly.

I wore this great teal blazer that i recently received from the great owner of Curve Appeal, the great full figure consignment shop here near my home. Yesterday, i was with the great owner and we set up a great new Facebook fan page for her shop and a twitter account for her. She will use that to announce late hours and sales for her shop… also to let you know which tags will be on sale for that month.

Outfit breakdown:
Tank: JMS (fffweek NY)
Skinny pants: Faith21
Teal stilettos: Shoedazzle
Blazer: Curve Appeal Consignment
Fedora: Target
