Halloween Fever...
This is not spam or junk... It is a cry for help...
Hi everyone,
I come to you asking for your help. My dear friend, Jacintha Tolson, that some of you may know, has recently been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma and sadly, she is not in a financial position to pay for her treatments or take the time off of work. In addition, when she finally is able to do the chemo treatments, she will have to quit her part-time job which will put her in an even more dire financial position. She is a single woman without husband or children to help her, and so, as her best friend, I'm reaching out to my own community of friends (and some of hers) to ask for your help.
I have set up a PayPal account for her using her e-mail address (cyntennial@gmail.com) and banking information without her knowledge. Any bit that you can spare to help her out would be so appreciated, and may help her to get to her treatments even sooner. I calculated it out and roughly $300 each treatment plus the $30 co-pay twice a month is about $4,000.
This woman is so special and so dear to me. She's more than a friend – she's like a sister – and I don't know what I would do without her. I feel lost and helpless, and there's little I can do aside from trying to gather these funds for her wherever I can. I know that times are hard and not everyone will be able to help, but if you can make even a small contribution it will add up to making a big impact.
Also, if you are uncomfortable with the PayPal concept, feel free to send money orders to her address:
5793 Stevens Forest Rd. #6; Columbia, MD 21045Sincerely,
Yolanda Ramirez
P.S. If you are wondering why you are recieving this email, it is because at one point or another you were in my BlackBerry or on Jacintha's computer.
Insert movie times and more without leaving Hotmail®. See how.
Sephora... oh how I love thee
So in these pictures you see my make-up for today. I must say that today I am feeling very good about my make-up choice (unlike the disaster that was 3 colors yesterday). I finally got my Sephora package in the mail yesterday and so I was able to to enjoy my 84 color eyeshadow palette. I mean, seriously... every possible color is in that thing. I am in heaven. Today I went with a dark gray color with purple undertones and then filled in the crease with a brighter shade of purple. As I am wearing gray and black today the color pops with all the drabness that is my colorless outfit. I followed that up with black liner, mascara, and liquid liner. Finally my lips are a wonderful gloss mixture of Stila Starfruit Lip Glaze and Too Faced Mirror Shine Lip Gloss. This is what brings me joy. The perfect makeup combination. I will admit that on my way to pick up some hot chocolate, I did turn a few heads. My eyes are demanding attention today... and that's how I like it.

Seriously...
I worked a whopping 13 hours yesterday on completing a project so that it would not have to be discussed in yet another Management Meeting this morning. I wanted it to be complete to the best of my ability and when I left for the day, I felt that had been accomplished. I felt really pretty yesterday in all blue...
Here is an idea of how it looked...

I really need to get into taking OOTD again.

Yuck...
Still waiting and there is hardly anyone left here. I'm bored and the book I've started to read isn't holding my attention. What is catching my eye is the office billing lady in her peep-toe shoes, long frosted blonde hair, and her size 2 frame. And how the other "normal" sized office staff look at her behind her back. As she is all decked out (as I would be) but her co-workers are all wearing scrubs. Now although I think a large potbelly sandwich should be in her future, you can't hate on her for getting up in the morning & actually giving a damn. Fashion makes everything nicer. Even the long wait at the doctor's office.
