DOTD: Salsa Birthday Bash

On Saturday night I had my birthday bash. I love to Salsa (Bachata & Merengue) and I don’t get out much anymore… so of course I wanted my birthday to include an opportunity to do this again. So I invited all my friends to come out and learn to dance or to celebrate and have a blast. It was so much fun. My camera was having issues so I did get a shot of my outfit… and some shots of the night… but there were a lot of shots that were scraped because they were blobs of blurry-ness… *shrugs* still it was the best time!!! Wish you could have been there

DOTD: Happy Birthday to… ME!!

So today is my birthday. I am a spring baby. So much so, that when I planned today’s outfit it was supposed to be warm enough to not have to wear this outfit with tights. I have no where to go currently… but I wanted to look HOT… not cute, adorable, or sophisticated… I wanted to cause an ESCANDALO… and make people need to gulp water from my HOTNESS… I still really like this outfit… but it would have been something more exotic if my legs had been free to enjoy the “spring” weather. Only today it is like 38 degrees and raining. UGH!!!! This weather is infuriating!!! It won’t let me be great!

Anyway, I’m the birthday girl so I feel cute and my eyeshadow was really fun to do today. I was going to say something really deep and profound about us getting older and wiser… only problem is… with another year older… comes another part of my memory that has been flushed down the toilet. lol

If you read atleast one other blog in the blogasphere… I’m sure you already know about the 60% off sale at City Chic. I purchased only a few things (as I am on the tightest budget in the universe). But it doesn’t change the fact that I am madly in love with so many things on the website that I can’t afford currently. But I felt as a fashion blogger I could maybe put it out there and you could purchase it… wear it & blog it… and I could live vicariously through you… I should warn you… I’m in a bare shoulder addiction type thing for this spring/summer…

DOTD: My awesome oh so awesome Birthday

I don't have much to say... I am super tired... but I wanted to post what I did and got for my birthday. I went to breakfast with hubby. Went shopping with hubby (see my haul below). Lunch and drinks with hubby (was still full from breakfast... so mainly it was appetizers & drinks). Then we went to run a few needed errands.
