DOTD: Longest Day Ever… no seriously

I got off work at 10pm… yes… you read that correctly… I am learning how to do the job my previous boss (Pecana) was doing. I love all the time she has taken to train me even though she doesn’t work there full time. I have to admit that if you had told me last year that I would be doing much of her job… I would have called you a liar… but wonders never cease.

So needless to say… I got to work at 8:45am and left at 9:59pm… color me exhausted. However, I love the outfit I was wearing today and since I haven’t blogged an outfit in what feels like months, I wanted to post this look before I passed out asleep.

I am soooo behind on blogging due to work & just life in general… but know that this weekend I plan on catching up with all of your blogs… scouts honor. I hope you like this outfit… Have you ever worked a day as long as I did today? (who am I kidding… this isn’t even the longest day I’ve ever worked… lol). Is there something you would like to see on the blog in coming days?

P.S. Hubby is doing much better. I know I never gave you all an update but he is feeling much better. Some days are better than others… but end result is that if he eats healthy… he will be fine **YAY!!!**

I love the look! The color combo is outstanding! Girl, I have some of those extra long days at work. Especially, when planning/executing field trips, parent meetings, or end of the year activities. *sigh* Sometimes, I have to attend events on the weekend or field calls from students, etc. during vacation (like I had to do this week). Anyway....I feel ya, girl. LOL!

Glad to hear that your husband is doing better. I know what you mean about long days. I try not to have them, but sometimes they are inevitable. I'm also glad to hear that your previous boss is taking the time to train you.

Those shoes work perfectly with your outfit. Love the colors together.

I adore this outfit! It looks fantastic on you! I love everything about it!

Those long days sure suck. Fortunately I myself haven't had to work days like that outside of the home in quite a number of years, they're common to my husband though. His last job he was at he worked 12 to 14 hours on a very regular basis. There would be times when he wouldn't have a shift under 12 hours for weeks, even going into months at a time. I sure didn't like that I tell ya, and of course neither did he. Now he does 10 hour shifts but gets 3 days off, some nights he ends up working overtime though, not too often thank goodness.

I hope you don't have to do more shifts like that, I'm  sure you are used to long days too though with that part time job you had.
