Today I am wearing orange as that is the color that Diva Dawn said I should wear. I only have two orange dresses and the other isn't exactly wear ready. I love the brightness of this dress. I really do. I wish I had done my make-up more dramatic, but all in all. I really do love how I look and feel today.
So today i had a to do list with 20 items on it... and as of the time of this post I had only done 6 things on the list. YIKES!!! But today is still going rather well. I have 100+ followers (i guess another giveaway is in order) and that seriously made my day.

Orange Dress: Burlington Coat Factory
Brown Leggings: Faith21
Denim Jacket: Torrid
Bronze Wedges: Franco Sarto (Off Broadway Shoes)

DOTD: Busy Busy Bee
Today I was running all over of the place. Had alot to do. So I got up early and just got home a bit ago. I had to interview someone and it will get posted soon. Can't wait to write up that article and post it to Examiner.
This outfit was not what i intended to wear. But I needed to get my pedicure before I can wear my other sandals. Today I had on the shoes I got from giveaway from Literal Gemini and a dress that I haven't worn in years because it was too small and when it did fit... I never got around to wearing it. Don't know if it is a keeper. I don't it was my best look. What do you think?
Outfit Breakdown:
Dress: Wal-mart
Shoes: Literal Gemini Giveaway
Ring: Torrid
Earrings: Beauty Supply

Supporting My Divas: Makeup Roundup
Today I wanted to do a special link to blogs I found and read that are devoted to makeup and/or cosmetic beauty supply reviews. I don't have all the ones I frequent, but maybe once a month or something I can update my list of makeup divas. I know this may come as a surprise to many of you, but before about a year ago, my makeup skills were subpar. I started watching YouTube videos and such and just praticing. I have seen with the joy of pictures I have taken over the last year my progress. So if you think you don't know much about make-up application, its not necessary. You just have to be willing to learn...
These blogs will either help you learn or show you some great products on your way to learning.
Dulce Candy - Now originally I fell in love with her blog because she is a true fashionista. But then I realized she does makeup tutorials on her YouTube channel, I knew this was a site that was after my heart. She's a beautiful latina who does fashion and makeup. This blog is a treat, and I LOVE it. Go to her blog and find her videos on her side panel (under Guru)
Lauren Luke's Blog - Okay. One fine day, I step into Sephora and there is a display labeled ByLaurenLuke. I ask the clerk in the store what it was and she tells me that its this huge makeup YouTube vlogger. I had no idea who she was. I went home and googled her. Miguel was by my side... WE instantly fell in love. Her accent, her technique, and just her general ability to make it all look easy. Check out her blog, but definately check out the videos. Not to mention she is a PSD (plus size diva) *zoom zoom* (you'll get it after you watch her videos)
Real Deal Reviews - This is my friend Ann... she has been a follower of my blog for quite a while. She does real reviews of beauty products. I like that she does nail polish reviews too. She's not hurting for followers, but I think like this... she is honest in her product reviews. And who doesn't need that? I love to see what she's reviewing so I can decide if I will give the product a try or not. Not all colors are ones I would try, but it also gives you a real account on the products in general.
Lip Gloss Gossip - I began following this blog in order to sign up for a giveaway. I don't regret my choice. I know you may think all beauty blogs are created equal, but they are not each one puts their own spin on the products. Not to mention not every application and technique is the same. I like this blog for the colors and some of the risky products she reviews.
I think these four are a start... I have a few more I hope to reveal in a couple weeks. Follow these ladies and show them some love.

DOTD: The Unemployed Maxi
I have been feeling sorry for myself for the last few days. Not having a job isn't ideal for me and so I haven't gotten up to do my usual Diva routine.
So after speaking with Stiletto Siren today, I realized I needed to get over myself. Also, I lost 2 followers and that wasn't exactly adding to the fun of my life. I have some other stressors that are going on, but they are not to be discussed here. They are however heading in the right direction.
But I love my outfit today. I am wearing a tube top under the dress because I wanted to do a pop of color. I think it turned out well... Opinions?
Outfit Breakdown:
Tube Top: Max Rave
Maxi Dress: Old Navy
Necklace: Vibrant Artwear
Ring: Torrid
Earrings: Beauty Supply
Shoe: Payless

Lo Quiero Ahora: Lucie Lu
The title means: I want it now!
Like I don't have enough regular parts of this blog... but I have decided that I would start to document items that I love (in regards to fashion) on the net on my blog. But when I have money... I can never recall what I want. But now that my money may run dry... I decided I would list the items I love here. In a regular running post. I don't think I will do it daily, but it will be more than weekly...
Todays items are all from Lucie Lu

Getting to the next level... Bloggery Edgamacation
Recently I learned from two great twitter icons @kimmoy and @vactress that there are ways to maximize my blog and earn a return from all the shopping and spending I am doing. I have this blog that I love and through which I have met some great people but is there more I can be doing. So, I followed the advice of these longtime bloggers and went in search of sponsors. And on my side panel you can find 3 companies that I support and use... often... and trust...
Maurices - is a company owned by DressBarn. And since you can't buy DressBarn items online, Maurices is the next best thing. They have a plus size section with very cute dresses (I really love dresses) but they have some SUPER cute skirts and camis that I can't wait to get my hands on. The closest location to my home is in York, PA. But I smell a road trip so that I can show off some items on the blog. They are now having a sale until Thursday BOGO 50% off Dressy Tops and Bottoms thru 5.06 @ maurices.com
Torrid - I'm not surprised that I was accepted. I mean this year alone I've tallied almost 900 Diva points. I love their clothes and their accessories. I will continue to be honest about my purchases from this. There are items I love, and others... not so much... but no retailer is perfect... even though to me Torrid is close. Not to mention... Hubby loves their clothes. **BONUS** Get 10% Off your Entire Purchase at Torrid.com - Use code 4AF10OFF at checkout! Valid until May 15
Silkies - Okay... YEARS ago... my mom got me hooked on silkies. A hosiery company that delivers to your home on your schedule... AWESOME. Not to mention that I LOVE their tights. They are extra spandex-y (its a word... I promise) and have great control. They also have skin Enriche Ageless Moisturizer which I've tried and it makes your face feel all firm. They have a promotion for Get $10 Off your next Silkies order of $50 or more.
I have applications in for 2 additional vendors but as above it is only for companies I love and believe in... I will always let you know if any pieces I wear are purchased or recieved as part of my sponsorship. I am also opening this up so that lessor known clothing companies and makeup companies can contact me if they would like me to do a review of anything they are selling. As I am unemployed and have much more time to devote to this blog, I really want to make it my "CAREER". I don't want you to feel like you have to use my links in order to make all purchases, I would just hope that if you see me in something you like and it causes you to make a purchase, you will do so from my site. I appreciate all my readers and the time you take to come by here daily and show me some love.

Since posting this post... 3 more have come in...
Yours Clothing - So in love with their clothes. My first order will arrive next week I believe.... my first pair of jeggings... will definately post it to my blog. You know how I love to be honest and show my flaws. So it will be great... I will keep you posted on any coupon codes I get and post it to my blog. :)
Charlotte Russe - Love their shoes and clothes. They really need a plus size line (SERIOUSLY) but I heard a rumor that it was in the works. So I will live with their accessories and shoes for now. But for the few of us who are on the small side of plus size. And those who aren't plus sized at all... they are running a special - Five: Find $5 Favorite Tees & Tanks through Wednesday 5/12 at CharlotteRusse.com.
Alloy - Super cute dresses and shoes. Just got the newest catalog the other day. Trying to decide if I am bold enough to purchase their shoes in a 10 as some size 10 shoes I can wear. They have some SUPER hot sandals and peep toes this year. I would love to get atleast 5 dresses. Expect a "Lo Quiero Ahora" post on some of their items soon. 15% Off ANY Alloy Order with code A15CPN

Diva Spotlight: MOTD for Diva Dawn
Okay, if you've been to this blog... EVER... you know my bestie for life is "Diva Dawn". She was one of the first people to show me what loving who you are is all about. She has always been a supporter of the FAT movement. I love her great spirit and beautiful personality. Below you will see her makeup technique. I can honestly say, I am probably one of the few people on earth who have seen her without mascara on... it only happened once... may never happen again. I think she's beautiful so her sharing her technique is making my day... Please stop by her page and continue to support this lovely lady.
Her blog is Miss Piggy's Prose
Prepare My Face
I usually start off by washing my face with Johnsons baby bath and cleaning up my eyes and lashes with Mabelline oil base eye makeup remover. I use the oil base because I ALWAYS wear waterproof mascera.
My Base
I have very rosey cheeks and pale skin. So getting my foundation/ base correct is a bit tricky at times. I usually use the 2nd lightest color that the company offers. That is usually the right color for me. So for now I am using Laverna Naturkosmetik Trend Sensitive Makeup Fluid in #1 Light all over my face. Then I add Laverna Naturkpsmetik Concealor in #1 light under my eyes only. I blend in with my finger and finish with Cover Girl Clean Pressed Powder in Natural Beige all over my face.
Eyes
Today I was feeling like purple but Barney is not my friend lol so I go a little darker. I used Rimmel Color Rush Eye Trio in #760 Elements. I use the middle Purple shade only today. But This is a great Trio for a classic smokey eye. I put the light purple shade on the bottom of my eye lid.
Next I added Estee Lauder # 14 Plumb Pop to the crease of my eye and blended in with a makeup brush. I am not sure the size of it as it came in a gift pack.
I finish with adding Cover Girl Eye Enhancers # 700 French Vanilla to my brow bone to highlight. I added Liner to my lash line in Jordanna Easy Liner in Eggplant and to my water line I use The same brand liner in Black and then finish with Mabelline The Colossal Volume Express In Glamor Black. ** I usually get really cheap liners and such because I find them to work ok for me. The liners that I use can be purchased at Walgreens for $1.99 and they last on my eyes forever and I have watery eyes. I do love the Colossal Mascera it lasts forever as well and is VERY black in the Glamor Black. So if you want a softer look I would go a shade lower.
Cheeks
As I said before I have very rosey cheeks. So I constantly look like I am blushing. I usually only use a LIGHT dusting of blush to even out my skin tone. I have been using Cover Girl Cheekers Blush in Rockin Rose #145 for years.( I also use it as an eye shadow from time to time when I am wearing Reds it works great!) I only apply it to my cheek bone very lightly. to give a glow look.
Lips
I hardly wear lipstick But when I do I love this shade. Its Laverna #16 and Hard Candy Mouthing off Lip Shine in #205 Piglet.
I know that it sounds like alot but I promise you I am made up from start to finish in 15 minutes! =o)

Blogger Love: Your Favorites
So I wanted to do another post on my favorite links on the web. But I decided to be a copy-cat again and just use the link I got from DefiNatalie. So use the link and tell me your favorite blog posts on the web this week. If could be yours or it could be a post you saw on another site. Let's share the love!!
DOTN: No longer HOLED up in the house
So I didn't leave my house all day yesterday... welll until late in the evening. I couldn't take another day being in the house... or being in this darn boot. So I decided a night out drinking was what was in order. I went alone, and had a blast. Met a waitress and she and I tripped out while I had this silly men buy my patron shots. It was better than any physcial therapy or better than any "anti-depression" pill. I felt really pretty. When I think about how much this outfit came too... I makes this even move worth it.
I also have to mention that the leggings that I am wearing were soooo super comfortable. And the cutout wasn't too much, in my opinion. I wouldn't wear it out to run errands, but it worked for the extra bit of sexiness I wanted for a night out.
Also, in light of the education I received from other bloggers about the possibility of someone reusing my pictures, I decided that I would take the advice of The Curvy Coach and watermark my pictures and make them less copy friendly. If you ever want to use a picture for a trend article or anything else, let me know. I don't mind sharing, just don't want someone to use my image without my knowledge or in the case of Payless & Chictopia... for their own financial gain... What do you think of the collage method?
Outfit Breakdown:
Gray Dress/Tunic: Target (under $15 on clearance)
Cutout Edge Leggings: Faith21 ($10)
Gray Wedges: Payless ($20 or so)
Necklace: Vibrant Artwear ($2)
Earrings: Beauty Supply ($2)
Ring: Torrid ($7)
Estimated Total Cost of Outfit: $56
What do you think?
