Having a job where I can be dressed casually makes it more fun to get dressed everyday. It means I can dress up or dress down. It just really depends on my mood that day. I started my day off in the best mood. And even though it didn’t go according to plan (we had no internet at work all day – YAY filing!! lol) I still retained my good mood.
Nothing fun has been going on with me which is why I don’t do as many outfit posts. It was also raining for 2 days and I didn’t want to get my camera wet. Speaking of cameras… I am in desperate need of a new lens. And when I can afford it, it will be my gift to myself. I am pretty proud of myself. The old me would have been selfish and used my first couple of checks to buy clothes and shoes… I have steadfast stuck to my shopping in my closet theme. This outfit was something that came to me last night… and I love it… it was comfortable to wear all day… and at the same time I felt fashionable and trendy. Do you prefer your casual looks or your dressy looks? If you had a casual job, would you ever dress up again?

i have those shoes in red and an army green! I love them
you look so cute and relaxed...i love tops like that, they remind me of the '80's (the BEST DECADE EVER!!!)
You look nice and comfy. My job has a laxed dress code too and I love it. I like having the option to down up or down.

i prefer to dress up. at my workplace, we have a strict dress code, but it is too casual! we have to wear a company polo shirt and khakis. it makes getting ready in the morning easy, but i really miss being to express myself with my style.
I prefer dress up clothes that feel like casual ones. Cute sandals and dresses are my summer staple.
I used to go to an office everyday - suits, heels, hosiery, makeup, the whole 9 yards. Then, I switched jobs to work from someone's home and now my own home. It does give me a lot of wardrobe freedom, but I have to make dress-up dates and plans or else I tend to wear the same boring things every day because they are comfortable and easy.
By the way, loving your off-the-shoulder tee.
WHAT?!! They come in red & olive?!!! Okay... I'm sick... I need those STAT!!! lol
Yeah... I'm in an 80s slouchy shirt faze... I love it!!
I love that option too... even though lately it's been more down than up lately... lol.
That is my fear... that I will eventually stop dressing up and will ONLY dress down... I guess I'm going to have to make a serious effort to not let that happen.
YES YES YES YES YES A THOUSAND TIMES YES!111
