DOTD: Naturally Diva-licious

So here it is… the day so many have been waiting for… the day… THE WIG CAME OFF. That’s right. I decided 2 weeks ago that I would go natural and would give up the wig for good. So below you will see my new hair… and you will be along for the ride for my real hair voyage….

So today’s outfit has so many things that I really enjoyed. Today is Palm Sunday and I wanted to go to church but because my hair was a frizzy crazy mess… I wasn’t going to go. Then I decided that… eh… what does it matter… I’m not going for the fashion. So today was the Sunday that they got to see the NOT dressed up side of me. You know what I think most people noticed was not the hair or even the clothes… I notice many people look at me… and then drop their eyes to my feet… as if to say “Where in the hizell is your stilettos?” Hahahaha! Yep… I do own flats. So I wore my leopard flats with my DIY destroyed jeans. These jeans I bought to intentionally roll up and wear as capris. Then I asked on twitter how to destroy them and I made that my Saturday task. Destroying these pants. I am pleased with how they turned out. I figure they will only look hotter with each wash. I completed the look with my new City Chic Batwing Top. I wasn’t sure about this top when it arrived… but then I put it on this morning… and OMGee… all my worries disappeared. This top is A-MAZE-ZING!!!! The back… oh the back… is what did it for me… a little bit of sexy in a tunic… SOLD!!!

So even though this outfit is super casual… I felt super trendy and fabulous… especially after I got my hair done…

I would do the wigs... but the combs on the side are killing my hair... so this summer its all about letting my hair exhale

Keep me grounded... I'm learning this day by day. But its so freeing not having to worry if my wig is on straight.
