WorkWear Wednesday: Networking

This week let’s discuss Networking. Let’s discuss how we as bloggers should support and embrace other bloggers. I want to make sure I’m doing my part, so if you think I am not commenting enough, let me know. I try to comment as much as possible, but I currently follow about 200 blogs and I do comment as much as I possibly can. But today, I want to embrace those who follow my blog that I have never supported. If you read my blog and I have never commented or followed your blog… leave a comment here so that I follow you. I try to click your images on Google Connect, but it doesn’t always show me your blog name unless you leave a comment. That is why commenting is sooooo important. If you have a blog and you never comment on blogs, they may not even know you have a blog. So it’s good to network and comment on other blogs.

I am also spending this day networking for a new job on LinkedIn and via FB messages. Some friends have given me some good leads to follow. I will use those to hopefully find gainful employment. Because well let’s be honest… things kinda suck currently. Anyway, this outfit would be great for a day spent at my desk. The skirt is comfortable but the heels are high enough where I wouldn’t want to have to run around on my feet all day. Even though this shoe is really comfortable. Would you wear this to work? If not, how would you change this outfit to fit your job?

Networking if great, you get to meet new people & give/gain support! I'm glad you're doing your part Yolanda. I feel bloggers should build each other up, and just have fun blogging.

Loving your outfit! The color palette is on point! I would add a gold watch, to top off this outfit :)

I think its very work appropriate....love it....but in my job those heels would last on the drive in and no further lol Good luck on the job front x

Hey, girl! I like the outfit. I really love the skirt! I would pop the collar on the shirt, other than that I think it is great for work (as long as the environment is not uber conservative). Regarding the networking, I don't know how you follow 200 blogs, but God bless you!  I try to support blogs I like through commenting  and sharing blogs on my fb page. I think the more support we show to each other and the more we promote each other, the greater our voices will be in the fashion and plus size fashion industry will be.

I would wear this to work even though some people think that I'm crazy for wearing heels to work as a substitute teacher!

I love how you still manage to look good and smile even when things are not going all that well for you! You are the kind of woman who looks adversity in the eye and tells in to f*** off! I love your strength and your dress sense.

I invited you once to join me on a challange I had started a few months ago on my blog, the challenge was called "I feel most beautiful when" .. didn't get a reply from you, I would have appreciated that. So, yea, that's me leaving a comment about networking. But, I've always followed your blog cos I like it.

Good luck with the job search... I love this look! For my current job I would be able to wear it as is, but for my former corporate life the shoes would have been a  no-no.

This is a great look for work! I think it's pretty perfect, except I'd have to trade out the heels for flats. You have some great ankle strength that I do not possess :).

I'm sorry love... about joining in on your challenge. I did add you to my side panel and I'm following your blog. I am terribly behind on commenting... but I try to comment on at least 3 blogs per day. More if I'm really changed to my laptop. Is it too late to do your challenge? I think you hit me up when I was having my own personal pity party. I want to support any and everyone I can... hold me accountable. :)

Very nice and casual work outfit. Nothing too overbearing. Very neutral. And I like your hair (I'm into this whole natural hair thing).
